Although Al-though the passengor traffic across the Pacific from American and Canadian Ca-nadian ports has not proven a success financially, the steamship companies doing a trans-Pacific business are planning to build larger, faster and better ships for tho servlco, according accord-ing to Consul General George Anderson Ander-son at Hong Kong. Managers of trans-Pacific lines bo-lleve bo-lleve that tho trade with tho Far East will reach a point in the futuro thnt will justify these uow and immense im-mense expenditures. |
