Show CROSS COIPUIIT Ln the divorce case of Fred Fie against Minnie Fie, the defendant yesterday yes-terday afternoon filed an answer and croBS-compIainL In the answer Mrs. Fie states that insfend of her deserting Mr. Fie, as he alleges in his complaint, ho-Alesort-ed her about two years ago. But, she says, he came to Denver last February and lived with her about ten days. In the cross-complaint Mrs. Flo alleges al-leges that sho married Mr Fie at Kansas Kan-sas City, Mo., April 1G, 1S94, but that In June of 1907, ho left her and refused re-fused to live with her. and has, since refused to lhe with her, and has kept himself separate and apart from hor, and their two minor children. She also states that Mr. Fie has been cruel and mean to her, ln that he has been intimate with Marie Hogan, of Ogden, entertaining her at theaters and canyon can-yon rides, much to the defendant's distress and mortification. Mrs. Fie states that her husband Is cnpable of earning, and does earu, $150 a month, and out of that wage, ho should provide for her and tho children. chil-dren. It is also said in the cross-complaint cross-complaint that the defendant should bo compelled to pay 100 attorney fees, $50 a month alimony, pending the action ac-tion brought by him, tho costs of suit, the prayer finally asking for separate maintenance and the custody of the children. nn |
