Show THE DOCTOR'S ADVICE. Blushing I am asked by correspondents corres-pondents to prescribe some cure for blushing, if it were on ailment and could be treated by an ointment or a lotion. Such readors evidently do not realize that their trouble Is simply a matter for which their nervous system sys-tem la responsible. The walls of our blood vessels are largely muscular, and these fibers, though beyond the control of the will, arc controlled by the nervous system, sys-tem, the agent bIng nerves distributed distri-buted among tho muscular fibers. I The nervous energy, which is continually con-tinually roaching the muscular walls ' of the blood vessels, keeps them In a moderate state of contraction, and the channels being of an average size, I the blood supply is evenly maintained.
