Show GREAT FALLS ELECTION. GREAT. FALLS, Mont . April 3. The city election today resulted In a Republican victory, J. W. Speer being elected over C. P. Murphy, the incumbent, incum-bent, by a majority of 373. The Republicans Re-publicans also secured four out of six aldermen elected. Tho Democrats reelected re-elected Herman Nalbach treasurer by a majority of G7 and Peter Arnold, police po-lice magistrate, by a majority of 458. Tho Republicans elected Asseltlne alderman al-derman In tho First ward. Austin In the Third, Pearce In the Fourth and Arndt In the Fifth, The Democrats elected Murray and McClintock In the Second. The "question of a wide open town entered into the contest to a considerable extent and the wide-open elemept won the mayor: A factional fight between unions alsp entered Into tho election, it being charged that Murphy favored the Industrlul union, while tho membors of international unions generally supported Speer.
