Show COLOMBO VOTES 01 LIQUOR TODAY DENVER, April 3 Liquor selling Is the principal Issue In the municipal elections to be held tomorrow in the following Colorado cities: Colorado Springs, Boulder, Colorado City, Las Animas, La Junta, Swlnk, Montrose, Eric, Plattville, Hotchkiss, Union and Littleton. Colorado "City, Swlnk and Littleton are tho only wet towns In the list. An especially lively campaign has been conducted at Colorado Springs, Other leading issues range from new charters to publicly owned sewers, and one town .Collbran has none to fight out. In fact, Collbran has not-oven not-oven gone to the trouble of nominating nominat-ing candidates hecauso no one could bo found who wanted office. Tho ballots bal-lots for Collbran have been printed In blank and the voters may write In any name they see fit. The voter Is privileged also to give his tickot any name ho sees fit. Colorado Spring, for the first time in Its history will vote on the question ques-tion of licensed liquor selling. The-"wets" The-"wets" do not want open saloons, but ask that hotels having sovonty-flve rooms, a limited number of drug stores and clubs that have been In existence five yoars be allowed to sell liquor. Colorado Springs has never nev-er allowed open traffic In Intoxicants, n clause in the city charter preventing prevent-ing it. Puoblo will decide whether it shall continue being reformed or return to the one-time policy of an open town. John T.
