Show THOU SHALT NOT STEAL THE loose stock that has been such a nuisance to Milford residents retired re-tired to seclusion for a week or two. But at night there are a number of cattle cat-tle and horses at large committing.dep-redations committing.dep-redations upon neighboring premises. Some owners of stock seem to feel that it is right and . showing a neighborly interest in their neighbors to sneaking"-ly sneaking"-ly turn their stock out at dusk and allow al-low them to get some feed from someone some-one else's stack or premises. They call that "wintering their stock." There is no difference from thus stealing one's neighbor's hay and from stealing it by 'lugging it away in a wagon or on your shoulder. It's plain stealing. It's just as unlawful, too, inside the city limits. |
