Show HIGH SCHOOL BOY INVESTS $102 in THRIFT STAMPS One hundred and two dollars' worth of war savings stamps and thrift stamps were purchased by one seventh grade student at the high school last Tuesday. The hoy invested in-vested his entire bank account in the government securities, remarking remark-ing as he did so that if Germany licked Uncle Sam it wouldn't be his fault. , Another seventh grade boy has sold ten dollars' worth of stamps in the last week and is coming back for more. Both of these boys belong to the local scout patrol and are out after government recognition of their efforts. One hundred per cent is the ideal set at the high school in the - thrift card campaign and it looks as if this is sure to be realized within a short time. |
