Show STAMPEDE HAS CARLOAD OF ORE READY TO SHIP A carload of lead-silver ore has been extracted in doing development work by the Stampede Mines company, com-pany, the property being situated in the old Lincoln mining " district, about sixteen miles southeast from Milford. An incline shaft is being sunk at the intersection of two fissures and a depth of 200 feet has been reached. Ore has been in evidence' all the way from the surface, t,he shipping grade averaging three, feet wide, while there is fifteen feet of low-grade In the fissures. A bid of $43.26 a ton for the ore on the dump has been made by a Salt Lake smelter. The property is equipped with a hoist operated by gasoline, and a compressor plant has just been purchased. pur-chased.
