Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith were Beaver visitors in Milford Saturday. Fred Crossman left Monday for Los Angeles, Calif. Leo McVeigh and family left Friday Fri-day for Jennings, Kan. The C. N. Gillispie family left Saturday for their home in Salt Lake City. Don F. Sutton, of the U. S. Airways Air-ways Radio Station left Sunday for Springfield, Mo. Mrs. Arthur Anderson is enjoying a visit from her mother, Mrs. Bailey, of Provo, who arrived Saturday. J. S. Hickman, who has been ill the past week with a heart attack, is reported re-ported to be improving. Among Beaver residents transacting transact-ing business in Milford Monday were Sheriff Jensen, Bob Nowers and Tom Gunn. . Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton left Saturday in their car for Southern California, where they will spend a month visiting friends and attending business matters. L. A. Wynaught made a business trip to Salt Lake, returning Saturday Satur-day morning. While there he visited Elam Fouts, of Milford, who recently suffered a paralytic stroke and is in a hospital at that place. He reports Mr. Fouts' condition quite serious. Fred R. Levi made a business trip to Salt Lake City the latter part of last week. J. W. Underhill went to Milford last week to visit his daughter, Mrs. Carl Elmer returning Monday. Delta Chronicle. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jeffers and children, child-ren, who were called to Iowa on account ac-count of the death of Mr. Jeffers' mother, returned home Sunday. Mils. Hilda Mathews was over from Lynndyl Tuesday to take part as Madam Queen in the negro minstrel min-strel given at the high school for the benefit of the. milk fund. Charles Thomas, from Milford, spent the week-end in Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas are planning to return re-turn to Delta this spring, to make their home here again and farm on the North Tract.
