Mrs. Pitchforth Entertains at Bridge Mrs. Gene Pitchforth entertained two tables of bridge last Friday evening. ev-ening. Those present were: Mrs. Inez Parsons, Mrs. Hattie Horton, Mrs. W. K. Gardner, Mrs. Wm. Morris, Mrs. Lewis McFadden, Mrs. Dick Jones and Mrs. M. H. Pool. High scores were won by Mrs. Parsons and Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Horton Hor-ton won consolation. A delicious luncheon was served by the hostess. Entertains Friends on Birthday Helen Carlson celebrated her birthday birth-day anniversary by entertaining a few of her friends at her home last Thursday. The evening was spent in playing rtoulette ;and "500." Verniije Smith winning prize for high .score and Venita Smith winning low. A lovely luncheon was served to Mary Banks, Helen and Elma Bird, Vernice and Venita Smith, Nelda Eyre and Helen Carlson. Legion and Auxiliary Hold Social American Legion and Auxiliary held a joint social at the high school building Thursday evening. Dancing and games furnished the pastime, and refreshments were served.
