Show PROCEEDING OF FEB. TERM OF DISTRICT ; COURT IN BEAVER CO. The February term of District Court closed in Beaver last week. One of the principal cases before the court was a jury trial in the case of M. J. Donlin, of Milford, vs. Elam Fouts, for damages. The plaintiff .was awarded a judgment for $2,500. In the case of the Intermountain Building and Loan Association vs. H. M. Jennings, et al, plaintiff was awarded judgement for $1545.00. J. P, Gleason, plaintiff, vs. Annette Gleason, was given a judgement for $483.85. Verna Davis was awarded an inter locutory divorce from Hyrum Davis, and granted $25 per month alimony and attorney's fees. Irene Thompson Smith was given an interlocutory divorce decree from Arthur Leon Smith, $20 per month alimony, attorney's fees and custody of child. Mary ,M. Snyder vs. Samuel R. Snyder, the plaintiff was awarded an interlocutory divorce. The case of Ane Marie Willeson vs. Eliza Booth, both having married before be-fore their divorce decrees became final, the court annuled the marriage. Larue W. Nelson was granted a divorce di-vorce from Alburn Nelson, given alimony ali-mony of $35 per month and custody of three minor children. The court also passed resolutions of respect for the memory of Ernest Burgess, Iron County attorney recently re-cently deceased. o |
