Mrs. Jack Thiessen was winner of the high prize and Mrs. Lloyd Lee, the consolation. Beautiful Beau-tiful fall flowers formed the centerpiece, center-piece, the color scheme beinjr pink and white. Dainty refreshments were served to Mrs. Harry Coon, of Comp-ton, Comp-ton, California, Mrs. Chilton, Mrs. MncDonald, Mrs. Lloyd Lee, Mrs. Myles White, Mrs. Roy White, Mrs. Roy White, Jr., Mrs. Almeda White, Mrs. Spencer Schow and Mrs. Jack Thiessen. Rehekahs Observe Anniversary Members of Victory Rebekah lodge No. 43, gave a banquet last Wednesday Wednes-day evening in observance of the order's or-der's seventy-third anniversary. A musical program was given, followed by games and dancing. White Family Meet at , Birthday Dinner x r Mrs. Roy White entertaind at dinner din-ner Wednesday. The occasion being her husband's fiftieth birthday. All members of the family were seated I at one long table in the center of which was a lovely candle decsrated : cake, surrounded by autumn flowers. J Those present were the eight children of Mr. and Mrs. White; Mrs. Harry Coon of Compton, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Myles White, and Mrs. Roy White, Jr., Thorold, Frank, Meryle, Norma, and Dick White; seven grandchildren; grandchild-ren; Mrs. Almeda White, mother of Mr. White, and a niece, Mrs. Merrill Edwards, and small daughter. j "500 Club ! Mrs. Earl Dewey will entertain the members of the "500" Club Friday evening, September 28. Weiner Roast Miss Rosalee Jones was hostess to the Students of the Junior high at a Weiner Roast, Friday evening out at Beaver Dam. All report a jolly time. Pierian Club ' The Pierian club met at the home of Mrs. E. L. Bardsley, Monday, Sept. 24. Mrs. R. B. Young conducted the English lesson which proved helpful and entertaining. Dainty refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed by all. The next meeting will be held October 8, at the home of Mrs. Willard Nichols with Mrs. Bruce Allyn as hostess. Mrs. Henry Bowman was assigned the government lesson on the Depart- ; ment of the Interior. . j I - ; j Mrs. W. S. Schow Entertains j Friday evening of last week, Mrs. ' W.
