Show NEWS ITEMS ABOUT PEOPLE YOU KNOW One of the biggest events of the season will be a showing of aprons made in our shop of best material to be obtained. Do not fail to see this beautiful display October 1 and 2 at the Milford Art Shop. Mr. and Mrs. Aldrich, of. Portland, Oregon, have come here to make their home. Mr. Aldrich is taking Mr. Ahern's place in the Railroad shops. Ward Alverson, of Stockton, is visiting his aunt, Mrs. Charles Crawford, Craw-ford, Jr. Phone 12 for Delicious Angel Food cakes for parties. Also other fancy Mrs. Douglas Fothering-ham Fothering-ham and small daughter, Kathleen, returned re-turned from a weeks' stay in Beaver. Miss Rachel Anderson of Salt Lake City is a gv.est at the home of Mrs Selma Carlson. Charles Miller and wife left here September 20, for Salt Lake City, where Mr. Miller will receive medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. 0. A. Browning of Salt Lake, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Nichols, en route to the southern Utah parks. Ladies! The aprons to be shown Monday and Tuesday are the most colorful we have ever put out. Snyder of Salt Lake, is in Milford looking after mining interests. Miss Miable Dairdson left for Salt Lake City Monday, where she wil remain re-main indefinitely. Lester Farnon went to Salt Lake Wednesday for a two or three days' stay. Mrs- John Killam returned Thursday Thurs-day of last week from! Logan, where she had been to enter her daughter, Mildred, in the U. A. C. Word was ' received this week that a fine boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Beard, of Salt Lake City. Both mother and son are doing well. Bert Nichols returned Tuesday-evening Tuesday-evening from a visit to Salt Lake-Rev. Lake-Rev. Homer E. Root underwent a difficult dental operation last Friday Fri-day night. The operation was of such a nature that ether was found necessary. nec-essary. Two men landed here in an airplane air-plane Friday evening and spent Saturday Sat-urday using their ship as a passenger plane, giving pleasure rides to local people. Several took advantage of the opportunity to take to the air. Everyone is talking about the wonderful won-derful meals at the Atkin Cafe. Two famous cooks have just been employed employ-ed and extra help secured so that the public can receive very satisfactory and appetizing meals and good service. |
