Show MILLARD COUNTY IS IMPROVING ROAD FROM COVE FORT GRADER AT WORK NEAR BLACK ROCK Arch James and A. E. Smith are authority for the statement that the Millard county road gang is now at work on the Cove Fort-Black Rock connecting link and is making extensive exten-sive improvements right above the oil well near Black Rock. Millard county is spending a matter of $3,-000 $3,-000 on this road. This work will not be of its greatest benefit unless Beaver Bea-ver county awake to the possibilities of having the good road extended from there on in to Milford. The Millard crew has a grader and - their work takes them to the Beaver county line. Interested road boosters boost-ers of Milford would like to see the work continued from there in to this town if the cost of it can be raised in some way. G. H. Thomas and Geo. M. Haley, two railroad employees, were in Milford Mil-ford this past week. W. M. Wilson, of Provo, father of Engineer Wilson, was here, Wednesday. Wednes-day. G. A. Hartog, of Ogden, was doing business here Wednesday- W. J. Berns, C. L. McKean and F. E. Horton of Denver, Colo., were all here for a few days this week. N Mr. and Mrs. P. K. Milligan of - - Caliente, were in Milford for the Safety First meeting. Mrs. C. L. Rhodes of near Lehman Cave, was on a shopping trip to Milford Mil-ford Monday. Charles Mills and Charles Ferry of Oakland, Cal., spent the week in our city. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Wrightman of Cedar City, were here on Monday. Mrs. Charles Tullis, of Provo, is visiting her many Milford friends. |
