Show TELLURIDE WANTS TO INCREASE RESERVOIR OFFER IS MADE TO COUNTY SPORTSMEN The Telluride Power company, through its general manager, H. B. Waters, has offered to assist the Beaver County Fish and Game club, in building for a larger supply of water at the lake in the mountains known as the Little Reservoir. The club has felt the need of a greater body of water at this reservoir, reser-voir, but through lack of funds has deferred the expense of increasing the reservoir's capacity. The power company, by reason of the Dixie line tapping into its power lines in the canyon, has been in need occasionally occas-ionally for additional water power for its plant. Mr. Waters submitted a plan whereby the club and company com-pany will jointly pay for the cost of making a bigger reservoir. The club has special permit for fishing privileges in the reservoir. Whether the Telluride's plans has been accepted we have not been able to learn. |
