Show To Grazers. This paper having ascertained that some misunderstanding exists among the users of the Bear River National Forest with regard to tho various grazing notices sent to them, tho following fol-lowing statement from the Supervisor of this National Forest may be of interest: in-terest: "A great many persons take it for granted that the notice of grazing applicants on Form 7G2 constitutes a permit to use tho Forest. This is an erroneous Idea. Form "02 Is simply a notice that the permit will be granted grant-ed the appllcantfor the number stated stat-ed in tho notice as soon as tltu applicant appli-cant has paid his fee to the United States Treasurer. When tio fees are paid, a notice Is sent back to this office, of-fice, and wc Issue the grazing permit on Form (t.0 No applicant can lawfully law-fully turn his stock upon tho National Forest for grazing purposes until the said permit is la his hands." "The notices to applicants were mailed about the 10th of March, and If the remittances were promptly matfe upon the receipt of the notices, tho permits will reach the people In plenty of time. Those who have delayed In remitting their money will be further delayed In getting on the Forest with their stock." "The forms mailed to tho people arc self-explanatory If they will only tako the troublo to read them." |
