Show Affairs Over at Paradise Harrises and Others Make Music There. Organ Paid for. Other News Notes. PARADISE, April I. Thursday evening tho people of Paradise met to listen to a musical pr6gram presented under the direction of The ward choir. Cholrster John J. Roberts spared no cfTort to make the occasion a rate treat. The chief attraction was the violin ducts furnished by the Piofess-ors Piofess-ors Harris, of Logan. Home talent was furnished as follows: Baritone solo, J. H. Mltton. Recitation, Elizabeth Schow. Song, Norman Obray. At ten o'clock the houso was cleared and tho young people danced until twelve. Tho funds were used to furn-,lsh furn-,lsh paying for our new church organ. Mrs. Thomas U. Smith, a former resident of Paradlse.now living In 'the Raft River country, accompanied her son John O. on a visit to Paradlse.the former to visit relatives, the latter to bo married to Miss Florence Parish. The ceremony was performed In the Logan tcmplo March 20th. Mr.Smlth and his bride are spending a week In Salt Lake. A baseball game was played between Hyruni and Paradise which resulted in a score of 15 to ll in favor of tho visiting team. ' Mr. and Mrs. William Schow, or Mantua, spent a few days In Paradise last week. We have about three men who arc afraid nf consolidation becauso It Is possible that another district has an empty school room, and tho county board ot education might 'decide to haul our students there to fill up space.
