August 28, 1913 in Merino, Colorado to Woseph L. and Jennie V. Dilley Roesner. Married Helen Sheneman August 23, 1936. ; Divorced. Married Ada Bennett Ross Nov. 18, 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada. President of American Excelsior Ex-celsior Corp., for many years, with general offices in Arlington, Texas. Sold business in 1967 and has been active in investments since that time. Lived in Grand Prairie, Texas, with summer home in Cedar City where summer months were spent. Member of Elk Lodge No. 1556, Member of Masons of the York Rite. Past member of Cedar City Rotary Club. Survived by his wife, Cedar City; 2 sons, Donald A., Huntington Hun-tington Beach, Calif.; Philip M., Van Nuys, Calif.; 1 daughter, Mrs. David (Susan) Bridgeford, Yorba Linda, Calif.; 2 stepchildren, step-children, James L. Ross, Cedar City, Jerrie Rae Ross, Salt Lake City. 10 grandchildren; Mother, Greeley, Colo. Funeral Services were held Friday, June 28 at 1 p.m. in the Cedar Tenth LDS Ward Chapel. Family prayer was offered by Donald A. Roesner with Shirley Whittaker playing the prelude and postlude music. Bishop Frank J. Petty conducted and the invocation was offered by Neil S. Bishop. Remarks were given by Durham Morris followed by a string ensemble consisting of June Larsen. Carol Ann Jones. Robert Bradshaw, Mary Mac-Donald Mac-Donald and they were accompanied ac-companied by Evelyn Jones. The speaker was Robert B. White followed by a soprano solo by Christine Winterrose "The Lord's Prayer" accompanied by Shirley Whitaker. Bishop Frank J. Petty gave remarks with Theo H. Corry giving the benediction and' LaMont L. Bennett dedicating the grave. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemtery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
