Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received at this office until eight (8:00) o'clock p.m., July 31st, 1974, for construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids will be opened on or about this time by the Mayor and City Council. SCHEDULE II: One reinforced concrete pumping station building (12' x 21') complete with bar screen, manways, handrails, piping, electrical wiring, forced air ventilation, etc.; install two (2) 4" x 6" Non-Clog sewage pumps (on hand) complete with electrical elec-trical motors, wiring, controls, etc.; One (1) sump pump, approximately ap-proximately 145 feet of ten (10) inch sewer line ; 5,360 feet of eight (8) inch pressure sewer line; 3,424 feet of eighteen (18) inch sewer line; 3,432 feet of twenty-one twenty-one (21) inch sewer line; 1,500 feet of twenty-four (24) inch sewer line; and twenty (20) sewer manholes complete with dust pans, rings and covers. EACH SCHEDULE will be considered and awarded and-or . rejected separately and bidders must consider each schedule as a phase of the project subject to specific conditions. Bidders are not required to bid both schedules in order to be considered for an award of the schedule and work desired. ' Instructions to bidders, plans and specifications, form of proposal, form of contract and bonds may be obtained from RALPH B. PLATT, Consulting Engineer, P. O. Box 398, Cedar City, Utah 84720 or from NEFF ENGINEERING and CONSTRUCTION CON-STRUCTION CO., 2500 Evergreen Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84109 upon a deposit of $50.00, one half of which will be refunded provided the bidder submits an acceptable bid and returns the plans and specifications, in good condition, within ten (10) days after the opening of bids. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bidder's bid-der's bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid proposal. ' A combined performance and payment bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the bid price or contract will be required of the successful bidder or bidders bid-ders and contractors. No bid may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids and all bids shall remain in force until otherwise BIDDERS ON THIS WORK WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE PRESIDENT'S EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 11246. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR BIDDERS BID-DERS AND CONTRACTORS UNDER THIS ORDER ARE EXPLAINED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS. Cedar City Corporation reserves the right to reject any bid or all bids, to make the award in the best interest of the city, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid in the best interest of the City.
