Show RED CROSS DRIVE. Marion Manderville, Kiwanis Club Vice President, center, congratulates Louis Cardon, left and Max Miller, team captains who directed the Kiwanis drive for the Iron County! Red Cross fund drive in the commercial and professional sector. In this portion of the Red Cross fund drive the Kiwanis Club raised $1,393, a 12 percent increase over 1973 efforts. Red Cross completes 1974 fund drive Results of the 1974 Red Cross Fund Drive were given this week by Darryl Schramm Iron County Chapter Chairman. Received to date is $2,286 which is 68 percent of the 1974 goal for budgeted needs. The three mining companies again gave the largest contributions con-tributions with a total of $500. The Kiwanis Club called on the commercial and professional area receiving $1,393, an increase of 12 percent over their 1973 results. The residential drive to date totals $293, down 58 percent from the 1973 residential total of $705. Anyone not reached by the residential drive is urged to make their contribution to the Chapter treasurer, Don Wheelwright at the First Security Bank. |
