Show Forum Series to discuss Utah Festival "Shakespearean Production" will be the topic of discussion at the Southern Utah State College Student Center Summer Forum on Tuesday, July 9 at 12 noon in the Student Center Lounge. Fred C. Adams, founding producer of the annual Utah Shakespearean Festival, will discuss details of the three plays to be presented July 11 through August 10. Prof. Adams' production for this year is "Henry VIII," in its first festival performance. Other plays in the seasonal triad are "Hamlet," directed by Michael Finlayson, and "As You Like It," directed by Burt Peachy. In addition to information regarding the plays. Prof. Adams will brief his audience on the new construction which is providing uniformly excellent seating for festival patrons. He will also discuss plans for the completion of the Adams Memorial Theatre complex and the grounds development. Now in its thirteenth year, the festival is attracting larger and more enthusiastic audiences each season. Through the years it has acquired an international reputation for quality and authenticity. Prof. Adams will also speak about the availability of tickets for the festival and nights that would offer the best possibilities for attendance. The public is invited to attend the forum free of charge. |
