Show Orioles coast to 14-5 victory over Bank Pirates The Parowan Cafe Orioles fell behind 5-1 in the first inning Wednesday night a-gainst a-gainst the Bank of Iron County Coun-ty Pirates. Pat Benson started a rally in the second Inning for the Cafe, and they coasted to a 14-5 lead. I Pat Benson and Charles Moter led the hitting for the Cafe, both hitting 2 for 2, scor. ing 3 runs a piece. Moter hit a triple and a double, with Benson hitting a double and a single. Kim Bess, John Clinton Clin-ton and Mike Evans all had two hits each. Other singles for the Cafe were hit by Shane Bess and Ryan Fiack. Kim Bess was the winning pitcher. Mark Matheson and Lance Evans led the hitting for the Bank. Matheson hit a double and a single, and Evans hit two singles. Other hits for th Pirates were by Brian Johnson Mike Thornton, Blair Bentley, Roger Bentley, Todd Robinson and Kelley Orton. Blair Bentley Bent-ley was the losing pitcher. Final score 23-7. |
