Show jgi, Museums conference scheduled at SUSC The second annual meeting of the Utah Museums Association Associa-tion will convene on the Southern South-ern Utah State College campus, June 29-30. Local arrangements are being made by Dr. Richard A. Thompson of the Museum of Southern Utah. Registration for the conference, confer-ence, which is open to all interested in-terested persons, will be at the SUSC Library Foyer from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday. The cost of the conference will be $2 for individuals indi-viduals and $4 for institutions. This fee includes the 1973-74 membership in the Museums Association. Featured events of the conference con-ference Include a slide lecture on the Evans archeological site at Summit to be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at the SUSC Llbraray seminar room by Drs. Jesse D. Jennings and Dr. John Marwltt. At 8 a.m. Saturday morning the group will visit the Evans archeological site and at 10:30 will examine the Gronway Parry Par-ry collection the Iron Mission Mis-sion Park. The meet will conclude con-clude with a 12:30 luncheon meeting at the Town and Country Coun-try where the featured speaker will be Dr. Wilburn West of the Utah State Institute of Fine Arts. A tour of Old Iron Town will be available during the after-noon. after-noon.
