Show PARAGOHAH By RUma Lamaraaux Miss Janet Lamoreaux was honored at a bridal shower at the Lamoreaux home Monday, June 18. Relatives and a few close friends were together for an evening of games and delicious de-licious refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Abbott of Salt Lake City welcomed their first child, an eight and one-half one-half pound girl Thursday, June 21. The baby Is to be named Veronica Ann. Mrs. Abbott's mother, Mrs. Albln Judd, and three of her family traveled to the city Friday to spend some time helping with the new baby Mr. and Mrs. Judd and Bishop Bis-hop and Mrs. Myron Abbott are proud, first time, grandparents. The Abbott's daughters, Dana and Klea and the latter's husband, hus-band, Rodney Knight, traveled to Salt Lake Saturday to welcome wel-come the new baby. Mrs. Douglas Ivle of Orem was here Friday to get his wife j and baby who had been visit-s visit-s ing with the Chester Robinsons. He brought Tod Robinson with him to spend some time with the Dale Robinsons and they took Becky and Quentln Robinson Robin-son back with them. Becky had ; been visiting here with her 4 grandmother. I Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis of I Naperville, 111. were recent vis-j vis-j ltors at the Dale Robinson home. They were enroute home from a trip to California. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lamoreaux and three of their family of Kearns arrived here Friday to spend the weekend with relatives rela-tives and attend the wedding of their niece, Janet Lamoreaux They were guests at the Clark( Lamoreaux home. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Shah, daughter Vlcki and grand daughter, Reva Cook of Las Vegas were here for the wedding. wed-ding. They were guests of the Kay Lamoreaux family. On Saturday the Shahs and Winnies brothers and members of their families all traveled to Parowan's Five Mile for a pic- nic dinner and family reunion, tr Almost fifty of the family attended at-tended the outing where visiting visit-ing and picture taking were in order. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Debus and family of San Diego, Calif, arrived ar-rived here late Saturday for a two week vacation at the summer sum-mer home of Jim's parents, Mr. - and Mrs. Phillip Debus also of San Diego. Miss Kristine Anderson, foster daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Abbott arrived here Saturday after a ten day trip to Hesperia, Calif, to see her grandmother and other family members. Miss Donna Abbott spent the first part of last week in Salt Lake City with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Abbott and on Wednesday boarded a plane for Hawaii to spend the summer with her uncle Gene Benson and his family. Mrs. Idella Robinson,. Mrs. Marsha Robinson and four daughters traveled to Spring City, Saturday to attend a Dahl family reunion. Others from this area to make the trip were Dee White family of Summitt, Mrs. Donna Jolley and daughters of Cedar City, Mrs. Clair D. Robinson and Sharon of Parowan and Mrs. Nancy Rowley and children of Las Vegas who were visiting her people. Idella reports that the Gordon Manzlones were there from Tooele and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Robinson of Provo joined them. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson traveled to Salt Lake City Friday Fri-day to attend some of the June conference activities. When they returned home Sunday they were accompanied by a daughter, Wendy, of Logan who will visit with them until Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mrs. Bruce Curtis and three little children of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Miriam Limb and grand daughter, Brook of Beaver visited here one day last week with the James H. Anderson's. Orval Lamoreaux returned i home to Orem after more than a week here with his sister, i Mrs. Irene Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Thorn- i ton and children and Mr. and ! Mrs. Alpine Thornton all of Las i Vegas are vacationing in Para- gonah at their summer home i at the present time. |
