Show Services held for LeLand DeMille tyj Mrs. Leon (Dola) Campbell, Provo and Mrs. Vlda Yergensen, Monroe. Burial was In the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Southern Utah Mortuary. Funeral services for Leland Bliss DeMille 71 who died June 24 at home were held Wednesday, Wednes-day, June 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cedar City 5th LDS Ward Chapel. He was bom Nov. 9, 1901 In Rockville, to Ozro and Lilly Cecelia Bliss DeMille. They moved to Hurricane, and he was educated in Washington County Schools. They moved to Cedar City in 1929 where he has since resided. He marled Erma Webster, Web-ster, March 5, 1929 in Parowan. This marriage was later solem-nlzed solem-nlzed in the St. George LDS Temple. j He has been Owner-operator of a trucking business, employ ee of Columbia Iron Mine, Supervisor of Utah State Road Commission, and Supervisor of the Cedar City Street Dept. until un-til his retirement In 1970. He was an elder in the LDS 5th Ward Church, and served as a home teacher. His hobby was music, guitar and harmonica. He Is survived by: Widow, 1 son and 2 daughters: Dale W Mrs. Daliel (Delores) Webster, Cedar City, and Mrs. Richard (Torl) Hunter, Orem; 13 grandchildren grand-children and 2 greatgrandchildren greatgrandchild-ren 1 brother and 4 sisters: Conrad, Washington; Mrs. Anthony An-thony (Orpha) Pendleton, St. George; Mrs. Norma (Elva) Bellows, Lake Shore, Utah Coun- |
