Show Cedar Council moves to inforce regulations at local garbage dump Cedar City Council In regular session last Thursday evening took action that will result in better control of the use of the land fill garbage dump, according accord-ing to City Manager, A. W. Stephenson. Authorization was given by the city to erect a sign at the dump site west of Cedar City reminding residents of the city ordinance which requires that all loads to the area must be covered to prevent trash and debris from being spilled and blown off enroute to the area. Plans also call for the issuance issu-ance of tickets for those who do not comply with this ordinance ordi-nance as well as the collection of fees for residents outside of Cedar City who use the facilities. facil-ities. The manager indicated that the council has set the fees for non-resident use as follows: Garbage cans, 50 cents each; up to Vi ton pickup loads, $5.00 each; H to ton loads, $10 each and two ton and over $20 each.
