Show f L Paragon ah By Hilma Lamoreaux i PARAGONAH By Hilma Lamoreaux Mr. and Mrs. Wayn Holmquist and their son Randy have had a very injoyable time hosting a Holmquist family reunion at their home. Mr. Holmquist's two brothers, a sister and a nephew all came from Minnesota for a two day stay. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Elof Holmquist of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Holmquist of Tyler, brothers; Mrs. Evelyn Pearson of Slayton and the nephew, Carlton Holmquist of Marshall. They were joined by another brother, Archie Holmquist and his wife of Cedar City. The group toured Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon, etc. and dined at Swiss Village. The visitors then left for San Jose, Calif, to see another sister. Mrs. Carmen Topham has received word of another great grandchild, a boy, born recently to Steven and Cindy Huntington of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Leona Stones observed ob-served her 81st birthday anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 25th and family members planned a celebration for the preceeding Thursday-evening Thursday-evening They brought lunch and spent the time in visiting Mrs Emma Dalton left for Salt LakeCity last week to spend some time visiting with the Bill Inglesby family. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Abbott and dauighters. Donna and Dana traveled to Salt Lake City Thursday of ast weV Th-v went to take Donna to begin her schooling at the University of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. ; Barton and members of their family left for Los Angeles Saturday to attend the funeral services for their brother-in-law , Lloyd Wise, and to visit with their sister, Josephine. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson traveled to Riverton Thursday to attend the funeral for Boyd's uncle, Lyle Larsen, who passed away suddenly. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux took their son Brad to Las Vegas Monday of last week to catch his plane for Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. Brad had been here on leave for two weeks. Clark and Wilma visited briefly at the Victor Shah home and then traveled to Lake Havasu City, Ariz, for an overnight stay. The Relief Society will hold second session meetings at 9 p. m. next Sunday morning. Mrs. Carmen Topham enjoyed visits from her nephew, Boyd Stevenson, and his w ife of California of late as they came to bring his mother, Mrs. Lavern Stevenson of Las Vegas for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo C. Robinson, Jill and Joshua of Orem were overnight visitors at the Chester Robinson home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Manzione and daughters, Janet and Denise, of Tooele were week-end visitors here with Janine's mother, Mrs. Idella Robinson. Saturday they took Janet to St. George to begin another year's schooling at Dixie College. Sunday they were to Cedar City to visit the Cluff Jolley family. |
