Show f V THE TRIAL OF , LEE HARVEY OSWALD I If President Kennedy's assassin I had not been shot by Jack Ruby and I had stood trial based on the known I facts in the case, would he have been I found guilty or innocent and if I guilty would he have been con- I victed as a lone assassin or as part of I a conspiracy? I The film 'The Trial of Lee Harvey I Oswald,' a four-hour motion picture, I poses this dramatic question in Part I I Friday, Sept. 31 on ABC-TV. Part II will I air Sunday, Oct. 1. I John Pleshette stars as Lee Harvey I Oswald. Pleshette is a remarkable I look-alike who resembles Oswald so I closely that he is even the same height and weight as the man he will portray. Ben Gazzara, in a rare television televi-sion appearance, will play the streetwise street-wise and ambitious prosecuting attorney, at-torney, Anson Roberts. Dynamic Lome Green plays Oswald's defense attorney, Matthew Arnold Weldon. Since Oswald never stood trial, the film's premise is ficticious. However, the facts about the case were carefully careful-ly researched in order to present an incisive portrait of Oswald. CONSULT OUR LISTINGS FOR LAST MINUTE NET- |
