Show New Harmony i 1 Mr. and Mrs. Darce Prince had as their guests over the week end their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Spevak and family. Their daughter, Carol Petty and friend, Randy Randy Addy from Grantsville. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince and friend Fred Melvillle spent a few days in Salt Lake City attending the State Fair and for Marva to keep appointments with her doctors, and Fred visited in Bountiful with his sister. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Orton and family spent the evening in New Harmony visiting their friends, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Prince and family. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall have returned home after visiting in Salt Lake with their son and daughter-in-law and family, the Weston Halls. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prince and Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince attended the stake High Priest Party in Cedar City last week. By Marva Prince The New Harmony Priests Quorum recently held a dinner and dance in theNew Harmony Ward Cultural Hall. The occasion was enjoyed by: Cory Beatty-Debbie Norton, Joey Comp-Debbie Thompson, Elwin Prince-Karen Prince-Karen Groke, Gary Prince--Kathy Workman, Gary Nielson-Marie Adams, Raymond M asterson--Sydner Warren Brent Prince-Betsy Goodwin, Mark Masterson and Julie ; Dennett. The theme of the dance was "Evergreen," with green, yellow and white chosen as main colors. 'Evergreen boughs were added to accent the theme. Betsy Goodwin and Brent Prince were chosen as Miss and Mr. Evergreen. Betsy received a Red Rose bouquet as Queen. The first attendant at-tendant couple were Kathy Workman and Gary Prince. Second Attendant couple were Julie Dennett and Mark Masterson. Kathy and Julie were each presented a Red Rose. The gala affair was enjoyed en-joyed around a multicolored fountain, the crowing touch of the evening. An expression of thanks was made by the Priest to the following parents for serving as chaperons at the party: Mr. and Mrs. Brent Bowcutt, Berdean Schlosser, Barbara P. Kelsey, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Beatty and Joe Walker. Mrs. Esta Taylor has returned home after spending a few weeks in Salt Lake helping her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. David Gardner and to get acquainted with her new Grandson, also visiting in Sandy with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Taylor. |
