Show Elks-Theatre play forChampionship The Elks ana Jacks; Theatre will meet Saturday at 11 a.m. on the Cedar High School football field to determine the 1977 champions cham-pions of the Cedar Junior Football League, according to Chuck Amador, President. The two clubs ended the season with identical records of four wins, no losses and a tie. The tie was during the regular season when the Elks and Theatre crew met and battled to a 6-6 deadlock. Saturday's battle for the league championship should be a "beauty" Amador stated. It will be preceeded by a game between the Sheriff and Pizza Coaching the Elks is Kent Bradshaw. Top runner for the Elks is Bruce Amador who is the league leading scorer and rusher for the season. At the quarterback spot will be Jed Black. Claude Slack and his Theatre crew will have Taylor Johnson at the quarterback slot. He is backing up early season starter Richard Mille'r who suffered an arm break and is out for the season. Leading rusher and scorer for the Theatre crew is Donald Adams. At the conclusion of the regular season this Saturday an All-Star team will be named. "We hope that the all-star team will have an opportunity to meet an opponent from Northern Utah and we are hoping to arrange a meeting with a team from Hurricane who initiated a Junior League this year," Amador stated. "We have had excellent support from the parents this season," he said.
