The SUSC Inter-Tribal Inter-Tribal float, "We Shall Walk in Beauty Forever," captured sweepstakes honors at the SUSC Homecoming Parade Friday. Winner of the Theme award was the Spanish International Club with the German Club capturing the most original honors and the Sigma Gamma Chi winning honors for the best non-float entry. Inter-Tribal Club captures Trophy Celeste Denton-Adams. A trophy for the most original float was awarded to thge SUSC German Club. A combined entry by the Spanish and International Students clubs received the torphy for the best representation of "Forever", the homecoming theme. Sigma Gamma Chi received honors for the best non-float entry. "On behalf of the committee com-mittee and ourselves we want to thank everyone who worked to make the parade a success," Kris Cooley and Shawny Christensen, parade co-chairmen, said. Other members of the parade committee icnluded SUSC students Shelly Benson, Steve Reiber, Paul Hatch, and Elyce Jones. The SUSC Inter-Tribal Club ;has in its possession the sweepstakes trophy for the best overall parade entry in the Southern Utah State College homecoming parade. The Inter-Tribal float, "In Beauty We walk Forever," was named the sweepstakes winner at the homecoming football game Saturday afternoon. The winning float included a large rainbow, members of the club in traditional dress, and the recently crowned Miss Inter-Tribal Inter-Tribal Princess and her attendants following alongside on horseback. Last year the club won the prize for the best representation of the homecoming theme. The sweepstakes entry was built under the direction of Delbert Goldtooth and Lucille Johnson, club president and vice presid-net, presid-net, respectively, and the 56 members of the Inter-Tribal Club.
