The volunteer efforts ef-forts of these young men touched the lives of approximately ap-proximately 120 boys who played in the league. Parents of the young men are: Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. The Cedar City Youth Council has presented certificates of appreciation to five young men who have contributed over 100 hours of volunteer service to the community by acting as umpires this past summer for the American Little League baseball games. The five who were honored are: Cole Adams, Oscar Hulet, Korry Lake and Bruce Nakken. Each man donated his time for at least one night per week for the Little League series that began in late May and ended in mid-July. Wayne Clark, umpire coordinator for the American Little League said, "the contribution of these young men was vital to tne success of the league. Without umpires there would be no program."
