' ' I lllMJt j"f" IW"Sl. -( I The 2nd Annual Community Country Store Bazaar will be held on Sat. at the Southern Utah State College fieldhouse from 4-6 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. Sponsored by the Valley View Health Foundation, the Bazaar committees hopes to raise $7500 to purchase a Fetal Heart Monitor for the hospital. The Bazaar still needs your donations of simple handmade or other items for Sat. A wide range of categories will provide items and articles that will interest all people. Lorraine Nelson, in charge of "Baked Goods" will provide tempting treats. Mrs. Nelson is a gourmet cook and teaches a cooking class at SUSC. An expert when it comes to candy, Kathy Nelson heads the "Candy" department. While a mother of four, she finds time to be active in com-i com-i munity affairs and also does catering. Brenda Stewart, talented in crafts and homemaking, has done a great job I organizing the "Children's Shop". I A nurse practitioner at the Borwn i Clinic, Nancy Bridgewater, has worked I hard to prepare the "For Men Only" 1 section and Leslie Dalton has organized an excellent "Mercantile" department. An exciting "Holiday" department has been put together by Elaine Anderson. An-derson. The shop is sure to help everyone prepare for the season ahead. . - - A traditional highlight of the Bazaar is the Baby Contest. Sue Butler Is working hard to make it extra special so don't miss it! The true success of the Bazaar is credited to Chariwoman Sue Foster who has been assisted by Co-chairwomen Co-chairwomen Vyonne Robinson and Sharon Dalton and has diligently worked to organize the event. Mrs. Robinson will be next year's Bazaar Chairwoman. Bea Knudsen has worked to insure a smooth cashier set up and general efficiency. Others who have helped plan the activities include: Joy Corry, Diane Gubler, Cheryl Buchter, Sue Cannon, Raezell Robison, and Cathy Christiansen. This year's Bazaar is anticipated to be even more successful than last years. Everyone is encouraged to come out on Sat. for a new Fetal Heart Rate Monitor! DONATION. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Johnson donate a stained glass window to be sold at the Valley View Health Foundation's Bazaar on Sat. Mrs. Lola Lamoreaux, Head Nurse for obstetricSj receives the gift which will help the hospital acquire a Fetal Heart 1 Rate Monitor. The Johnsons own and operate the" Wood and Works" business in 1 Paragonah. I |
