Show I ' " - 1 DEAN L. LARSEN Elder Larsen presides at Conference Elder Dean L. Larsen of the First Quorum of the Seventy, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints will address members of the SUSC Stake at their Stake Conference November 12. Accompanying Elder Larsen will be F. Burton Howard, member of the First Quorum of Seventy. Conrad V. Hatch, Cedar City Regional Director will also be in attendnace. Meetings will include one for all members of the College Stake November 11 at 7 p.m., a special Priesthood Leadership session Nov. 12 and the General Session of the Conference at 10 a.m. that same day according to Gail B. Duncan, Stake President. All meetings will be held at the LDS Institute at 650 W. Center. Elder Larsen was employed as editor of the Church magazines at the time he was called to the First seventy. A graduate of Utah State University, Univer-sity, he was a high school teacher and basketball coach in Wyoming before joining the Church's Seminary System. He has served as executive secretary of the Church's Indian Committee, coordinator of curriculum planning and director of instructional materials for -the Church's Internal Communications Dept. He now serves a executive director of the Piresthood Dept. His church service has included three years as a mission president in southern Texas. He has also served as A bishop and a Regional Representative Represen-tative of the Council of the Twelve Apostles. Elder Larsen and his wife, Geneal, are parents of five children and reside in Kaysville, Utah. |
