Show Rotary 10-0 in American League Play Spilsbury-Graff squeaked by 7-Up 11-10 in the first game of last week's American League Play with Hulet going the distance on the mound. Lopour got a triple and a double, and Lambeth doubled for the winners while Anderson and Hancock tripled and Hunter, Hammer, and ' Sanders doubled for 7-Up. It was Milne 13 and Bettridge Bet-tridge 9 in the second game iwth doubles being hit by Bolton, Smith, Ipson (2), Englestead (2), and Simkins (2). Rotary remained un defeated as they took Coleman 22-9. Winning pitchers were Pearson and Birrell while Ence and L. Palmer led the scoring surge with homeruns. Teammates hitting doubles were Chris Weaver (3), Cleve Weaver (3), L. Palmer, and Harris. Kiwanis defeated Carter Bros. 13-5 with pitcher Jeff Heap leading the scoring with a homerun. E. Bonzo doubled for Carter Bros. Spilsbury-Graff squeaked by Milne 10-9 with their pitchers leading the scoring. Lambeth got a homerun and Blackner doubled. Miller went the distance on the mound for Bettridge's win over 7-Up 10-6. Hayley . Briggs doubled. Piacitelli doubled for 7-Up. Carter Brothers overcame Coleman in another close one 16-15, with Whetman and Bonzo doing duty on the mound. Hitting doubles for the winners were E. Bonzo, R. Dean, and C. Spencer (2). J. Stokes (2) and S. Childs doubled for Coleman. The week ended with Rotary defeating Kiwanis 37-2. Birrell led the scoring battery with a homerun and a double while Chris Weaver tripled and got four doubles. Doubles were also hit by Cleve Weaver, Pearson, T. Palmer (3), Haris (2) and Carpenter.
