Show Capt. Brough on NATO Manuvers Captain Rulon L. Brough, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Rulon Brough of 556 South 580 West, Cedar City, Utah, recently participated in "Dawn Patrol '79," a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) exercise involving the air, land and sea forces of six NATO nations. Captain Brough is an F-1 F-1 1 IF aircraft commander at Lakenheath RAF Station, England, with the 48th Tactical Fighter Wing. Armed Forces from the United Kingdom, Italy, the . Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey and the United States took part in the operation, . which .was designed to exercise and improve NATO's readiness. France and Greece; although not part of NATO's integrated military structure, struc-ture, designated forces to exercise alongside the other six allied NATO nations. NATO also exercised its capability to control the sea lanes in the Mediterranean and moved ' men and material through them to reinforce land-based forces. The captain, a 1968 graduate of Cedar City High School, received a B.S. degree in 1974 from Southern Utah State College, where he was commissioned through the Air Force Reserye Officers Of-ficers Training Corps program. |
