Show Ace Hardware leads Senior LL For State Bank they sent three men to the mound in fashioning their victory over TWA. Seeing mound action were Sheffer, Bulloch and Prestwich. State Bank took advantage of walks and errors to pick up the win. They pushed in four runs on two hits in the second and added five . runs without benefit of a hit in the fifth. ' Whitney and LaPour were on the mound for TWA. TWA pushed in five runs on three hits in the third, but could not make up the difference. Following ' are the results through Friday evening ending the first half of action: State Bank 9, Utah Int. 8 Canyonland 7, Cal-Pac 4 Corry 11, State Bank 6 , TWA Services 11, Parowan 10 Del Rich and State Bank got the second half of action ,un- ; derway Monday and Del Rich came up with a convincing victory over Ace Hardware, first half winners by a score of 10-4. State Bank handed TWA Services a setback, 11-6 in the first nigbtrs action Dale Corry was on the mound for the Del Rich victory hurling a one hitter at the leaguejeading Ace crew. For Del Rich the only extra base hit was a triple by Burke Wilkerson. Del Rich pushed in five runs in the first inning picked up a pair in the second and added three runs in the third. On the mound for Ace Hardware were Sellers and Robinson. V Ace Hardware, with no action in the final week of play in the first half of the Senior Little League, set back and watched as the rest of the clubs fought it out for second place in the standing. Ace wrapped up the first half with a record of 6 wins and 2 losses. Canyonland and D. W. Corry each scored victories in the final week of play to move into a tie f of second place just one-half game ahead of California Pacific.
