Mr. and Mrs. John Sorensen, who are recent arrivals in our valley, enjoyed a visit this past week end from Mrs. Sorensen's mother, Mrs. Lucy Timothy, of Taylorsville, and a great aunt, Mrs. Lucille Gibson of Draper. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Olds hosted a family party on Friday evening of last week for their Beatrice Russell of Athens, Alabama visited here with her sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Russell Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Rick Johnson and children Ayse, Danny, and twins Joshua and Jason spent their vacation in Calif, where they visited Disneyland, Marineland and Lion Country Safari. summer with Bishop and Mrs. Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. David Lawrence enjoyed a visit last week from .Betty Walker and Arlene Callaway, both of Hesperia, Calif, and Betty Munson who works with the Job Corps in Los Angeles, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw made a trip to Blackfoot, Idaho to see their son-in-law and daughter, Jim and Gay Soren- ' son. The Sorensons were in the recent flood area but report that they did not sustain any flooding of their home. Jolyn and Camalee Walker are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. David Grimshaw and their family. ; Kenneth Sherratt, son of Mr. i and Mrs. Cressell Sherratt was in an accident on Sunday afternoon and was rushed to Salt Lake where, at this time, he is in daughter Margo Bale who is visiting here from Wash. D.C. Mrs. Olds mother, Mrs. Agnes Henroid returned home from a visit in Ely, Nev. Mrs. Virginia Smith is in the Valley View Medical Center recovering from surgery. Members of the Enoch Second Ward enjoyed a delicious dinner and fun dance on Saturday evening at the Church. The event was the Bicentennail Ball. A great deal of work was evident in the lovely decorations as well as all preparations. Funeral services were held at the Enoch Chapel on Monday morning for Elbert Heaton, a ; former Midvalley resident, Elbert was the son of Ira and Lois Heaton. Many friends and relatives were here from out of town including his two sons Stewart and Richard Heaton. |
