' Individuals, young and old, can earn college credit for what they've earned on their own by taking College-Level College-Level Examinations August 19 at Southern Utah State College. "The CLEP tests have undergone extensive revision and after the August test will be longer and cost more," Jim Piacitelli, SUSC Coordinator of counseling, said. "Because of an expected heavy turnout for the August test and because materials and space will be limited, interested persons are advised ad-vised to send a note indicating in-dicating the test they want to take and the appropriate fee to the SUSC student Resources Center as soon as possible," he said. CLEP testing will start promptly at 8:15 a.m. in the Student Resources Center, room 102, SUSC Administration Ad-ministration Building. The current fee schedule is set at $20 for one test ; $30 for two tests; $40 for three to five tests; $60 for six tests; $70 for seven tests; and $80 for eight or nine tests. Piacitelli said that tests are being offered which recognize college level learning in English, humanties, natural sciences, math or social sciences-history. |
