Show visit here with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stapley and the Dee El Stapleys. Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Stapley and Mr .and Mrs. Fred Whicker Whick-er attended a class reunion in Cedar City Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Hump. jerys were happy to have I their family home for the hoi-I hoi-I iday week end. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Larkin and little daughter daugh-ter were here from Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Denny Woodard, Billye Ann and Patti Gai came from Panguitch, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Humpherys and little daughter of Cedar City and Mark came from Bryce Canyon. Can-yon. Mr. and Mrs. De Lynn Cham'berlaii. and children of Las Vegas, are spending a week here. Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Tjm-othv Tjm-othv anri family of Phoenix. SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport The Pioneer Day Celebration began with soft ball games in the afternoon followed by a miniature Parade. After this, most of the WrJ members took picnic lunches to the mountains. Then they enjoyed the Primary Summer Sing with alj the children taking part. President Billye Humpherys Hump-herys was in charge with Diane Di-ane Hulet and Mrs. Mary Lawrence directing the music and Mrs. Margie Allton was the narrator. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley drove to Salt Lake City on Thursday of last week where they visited with family members mem-bers then boarded a plane early Friday morning for Lan-sing, Lan-sing, Michigan to spend some time with their daughter and family, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Ras-mussen Ras-mussen and four children, and to join them for a trip to New York to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant and other Church Historical Points of Interest. They will also visit the Niagra Falls and tour northern Michigan Michi-gan before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. David Dalley were here from Salt Lake City over the week end. Mr .and Mrs. Jay Davenport enjoyed having their little grandson, Scobt Condie, here with them for four days last week while his family, Mr. and Mrs. . Dannie Condie and Russel of Cedar City, were yis-tfting yis-tfting in Price and Ogden with Mrs. Condie's aunt, Mrs. Von Davis and Mrs. Jerry Storey and their families. They were also in Salt Lake City for the Parade and festivities on the 24th. Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Stapley and three little daughters returned re-turned to their home in Boise, Idaho Sunday after a week's spent the week end here with Mrs. Timothy's sister, Mrs. Dee El Stapley and family. Mr. and Mrs. Clint Mathe-: Mathe-: son and sons of Salt Lake City were here for a holiday Visit with Mrs. Matheson's folks, the Lyle Farrows. Bishop and Mrs. Delos Dal-ton Dal-ton and family spent several days in Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker enjoyed a week end trip to Grand Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Richards Rich-ards spent Friday visiting in Greenville with their daughter and family, the Ricke Edwards'. Ed-wards'. They were accompanied accompan-ied by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Green, Jr., and children of San Diego, Calif, arrived here Monday of last week to visit with their folks. The following day Ralph,, Jr., took his mother to Salt Lake City where Ralph, Sr. had been hospitalized for more than a month. They were happily surprised that he was well enough to be released from the hospital and was able ab-le to return home with them. Miss La Vern Casuse, foster daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Val Ellis, was here for a short visit vis-it after being hospitalized in Salt Lake City several weeks. She left Saturday for her home in New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker and sons returned home from Fillmore Tuesday of last week. They also traveled to Oak City to visit at the new homei of their friends, Mr. and Mrs. I Scott Sheriff and son. |
