Show GAB studying local carrier operating losses, Congressman Sherman Lloyd says ' The Civil Aeronautics Board advised Rep. Sherman P. Lloyd, R-Utah, Monday that it is conducting an in-depth study on possible solutions to mounting financial losses of local service airlines serving outlying communities. The board's reply came in response to a letter from the Utah Republican expressing concern that without long-range long-range solutions to the financial finan-cial squeeze many local carriers car-riers would have to drastically reduce airline service in smaller smal-ler communities in Utah and other western states.
