Show Pre-registration counseling offered atSUSC Prospective Southern Utah State College students and those returning to the schoo fall quarter can receive specia counseling assistance through the summer, it was announcec by Dr. Eugene Holman, SUSC dean of students. As students are accepted for admission to the college they are assigned to an advis. or who will aid them in plan ing course work. Dr. Holman emphasized that students dc not have to wait until schoo begins to gain information which might be of help to them. "Those who wish to receive re-ceive counseling now or at any time in the future may contact con-tact my office or the SUSC Counseling Service," Dr. Holman Hol-man said. Intensive planning for Freshmen Fresh-men Orientation and other activities ac-tivities to take place at the be-gining be-gining of fall quarter is underway under-way at the college, according to Ken Benson, coordinator of Student Activities. Mr. Benson Ben-son is being assisted by Glenn Richardson, 1970-71 student body president, and other members of the SUSC faculty and staff. New students will receive advisement and complete registration reg-istration on Monday, September Septem-ber 28. They will participate in Freshmen Orientation on September Sep-tember 29 while former students stu-dents are registering. Class-work Class-work begins for all students on September 30. Mr. Benson said that a handbook and other specia1 materials will be provided for all new students at the time of advisement. The $2 orientation orienta-tion fee will cover all pre-registration pre-registration costs. Students who have not taken tak-en the ACT Test will be able to do so on September 26 at 1 p. m. in Old Main. |
