Show NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE Mrs. Norma Christensen Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis left this week for Salt Lake City, where they joined a group tour that will take them to Palmyra, N. Y. There, they will view the LDS Pageant. The Elder's Quorum sponsored spon-sored a Dutch over dinner Wednesday night on the ten-, nis court in New Castle. This was a building fund dinner for the nearly completed church. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen Chris-tensen traveled to Las Vegas Sunday to take their little granddaughters back to their home. They are the girls of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Evans of that city. Their daughter, Janice, Jan-ice, accompanied them. Mrs. Mary Tullis and fam" ily visited over the week end ; in Pioche, Nev., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Chris- i tian. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harri-j son held an open house Saturday Sat-urday night at their home in honor of their son and his bride, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harrison. Har-rison. The young couple are making their home in Saint George. Mr. and Mrs. Carl T. Holland Hol-land and family of Downey, California, were visitors this week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Holland. Hol-land. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Deem of Lakewood, Calif., were visitors vis-itors this week at the home of their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. oyd Christensen. Mrs. Nita Rae Hulet returned return-ed home Sunday after a week's stay as a surgical patient in the Dixie Memorial Hospital in St. George. |
