Funds come from the 10 percent per-cent excise tax on fishing Tods, reels, creels, artificial baits, lures and ihea. The tax on sportsmen was established under un-der the iDingell-Johnson Act. Distribution is made according to a formula Ibased on the numlber off sport fishing license lic-ense holders in the state and the area of each state. Tax money comes back to Utah fisheries Sport fishing restoration funds amounting to $3,500,000 are scheduled for distribution to the states by the Federal Government. Utah fisheries grams will receive $95,624. Under the Federal Aid In Fish Restoration program, i states are reimbursed for tip to 75 percent of the cost of approved ap-proved fisheries projects.
