Show Fourteen teams battb (or top spots in City Softball league The Cedar Men's Softball Association has grown to 14 teams this year and competition competi-tion seems as keen as ever. The league itself has been divided into two divisions of seven teams each. The race for first place in each division has come down to a two team battie. In Division Di-vision one Randall Farms of Enterprise and Iron County Lumber are battling for the lead while Enterprise Coop and Ron's Sporting Goods are the contenders in Division two. Both divisions are represented repre-sented by a host of outstanding outstand-ing players and they will be brought together in an All-Star All-Star game to be played on Monday evening, July 24. Members of the All star teams will be named for each Division and they will clash at 8:30 p.m. on the Cedar City Lions Diamond. As to the league conclusion regular league play will end on August4. On August 7. the two division champions will begin a best two out of three game series to determine the ultimate league champions for 1972. On August 9 the top' four teams in "each league, will begin be-gin final play of the season in a doulble elimination tournament tourna-ment This , tournaments will be held over a two-week period.;, per-iod.;, r ,, League games are, played at the Cedar Cfty park each evening Monday through Friday Fri-day with games at 7 and 9 p.m. Only one game is scheduled sche-duled Thursday evening at 9 p.m. ' '' , The public Is invited to at-tend at-tend and enjoy the games.
