Show Orientation planned by Festival A special pre-play orientation orienta-tion will b,e held beginning July 14 prior to each performance perform-ance of the Utah Shakespearean Shakespear-ean Festival, it was announced announc-ed by Fred C. Adams, founding found-ing producer of the Festival. The special program instruction instruct-ion will begin each evening at 7:15 In the SUSC Auditorium. "Many people have told us that it would be helpful to know more about plays before seeing them," Mr. Adams said. "We will provide information that will help them to understand under-stand the play themes and action, and als0 help them in-terpret in-terpret what Shakespeare was attempting' to say in these great poetic works. He was one of the world's great phll osophers as well as a play wrlght without peer." Mr. Adams will personally conduct most of the seminars. He will be assisted by other members of the Festival cam. pany. Those attending the Festival, and the general puib. lie, are invited to attend the lectures free of charge. The orientation programs will directly precede the FS' tival pre-play entertainment which begins each evening at 7:30 on the Festival grounds. |
