Show Second Ward will sponsor Pioneer Day event For another year the Parowan Paro-wan Second Ward announces that it will sponsor a program pro-gram for the observance of July 24, Utah's Pioneer Day in the community. The announcement announce-ment comes to us from Ray Morris, who has been made chairman of publicity for the celebration, and he outlines the events for the dav. as fol- lows: It will begin as usual with way at 9 a. m. to start from Pioneer parade to get under-; an "around the church block" in front of the First-Second Ward Church, He states that this will be followed by a program in the ward culturel hall, and both ofg these events will be sponsored by the Primary Association with everyone invited to participate. partici-pate. Parade entries will follow fol-low an early day theme. At 10:30 a. m. or following the parade the activities will move to the lawn east of the cultural hall, where sports and games will be had along with a food sale. Dinner will be served at noon with food for it to be on sale at the site.. |
