Show John Benson group meets in area for 1952 Reunion The descendants of John and Mary Alice Benson, gathered gath-ered in Parowan the first of the month for their annual reunion, with the group gathering gath-ering first on Saturday, July 1, at Cedar Breaks at the cabin ca-bin of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Page. This was in the form of an open house with 40 in attendance. On Sunday morning the group gathered at the Cedar Breaks Lodge for Sunday School. In the afternoon they gathered at the Four Mile in. Parowan Canyon at the site of the old sawmill operated by Nathan Benson. A monument monu-ment was built at this site a ' year ago by descendants of the owner of the mill, and on Monday the monument was dedicated. The dedication took place at 2:30 p. m. with Clark Benson, Jr. pronouncing the dedicatory prayer. Joining in at this point were Edgar and Roy Benson who are members mem-bers of another branch of the Benson family. The reunion continued on Monday at the Parowan City Park where a potluck dinner was held with , 32 in attendance. attend-ance. This was followed by a business meeting.
