Show I PARAGONAII NEWS Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux Sunday, Mothers Day, seem, ed to be the appropriate time for family gatherings in Para, gonah and many relatives came for the clay. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Robinson Robin-son and family of Richfield, Mrs. Ruby Bauer and children and Hugh Robinson of Cedar City were here to spend the day with Mr, and Mrs. Calvin Cal-vin Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Mario Stones and daughter Brenda, Mr. and Carlyle Mitchell, Mrs. Susan Adams and daughter and the Alan Stones family were here to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa Stones. Mr. and Mrs. Dee White and children of Summit, Mr. Donna Don-na Jolley and family of Cedar City and the Clair D. Robinson Robin-son family gathered at the H. Revere Robinson home. Ellen Jolley spent the weekend week-end here with her grandmoth- Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson Rob-inson had all of their daughters daugh-ters with them for Mothers Day. Here from Cedar City were Mrs. Ivy Skougaard and children, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Walker and three of their family and Mr. and Mrs. Vic- American Fork he attended Seminary graduation exercises exercis-es at the Training School where daughter Alice was a graduate and then went on to Kaysvllle to see his son Roy. Mrs. Melva Barton entertained enter-tained at dinner Sunday evening even-ing in honor of the birthday of Mrs. Bell Edwards. Mrs. Laverne Stevenson of Las Vegas, her son Boyd and his wife of Downey Calif, were Friday visitors here with Mrs. Eva Topham and Mr. and Mrs. J. Leonard Topham. D.U.P. meeting will be held Thursday afternoon at the Ward Relief Society Room. This will be the last meeting of the current season. Mr. and Mrs. II. Revere Rob. inson are first time great grandparents with the arrival of a baby girl born May 6 to i Wayne and Nancy Rowley of Parowan. Mrs. Aibin Judd and son Greg traveled to Hurricane on Friday to spend the day with Mrs. Judd's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hinton. May 2nd was .a day of celebration cele-bration at the Jack Dalton home when family members were together for Jacks birthday birth-day anniversary. Mrs. Dalton prepared a dinner and this was followed with games and activities and an evening "Cook Out." Those present included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. John 1 Carl Dalton and Linda of Cedar Ce-dar City and the Alan Stubbs family of Parowan in addition addi-tion to Emma's mother, Mrs. Lula Bastian. tor Matheson and five children. child-ren. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot had family members with them for the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Talbot and daughter Annette from Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Talbot and two boys arrived ar-rived from Malta, Montana to visit until the middle of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson Ander-son and children of Kanab were here Sunday to visit with the James H. Andersons. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson, Rob-inson, Mrs. Alice Robinson and the Dale Robinson family were to Cedar City on Sunday where they were entertained at the Ralph Edwards home. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Morten-sen Morten-sen and the Alan Stubbs family fam-ily of Parowan were Sunday visitors here with Mrs. Lula Bastian and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton. Mrs. Flossie Harris of Cedar City was here on Sunday to spend the day with her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Stella Edwards. Mr. Walter Gibson of New Jersey was a Saturday visitor i here with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund. Miss Kathy Gibson of Cedar City and her fiance Alvin Crown of Salt Lake City were also Saturday visitors at the Lund home. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Lund and children of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the Wilson Lund home. Mrs. Gaytha Benson and three 'daughters of Beaver and the Ronald Mortensen family of Parowan were Sunday visitors visi-tors at the Joe Lamoreaux home. Mrs. Emma Rasmussen of Parowan was here Sunday for a Mother's Day visit with Mrs. Myrtle Abbott. ""Mr." and Mrs. Baylord Robb of Provo were here for the week-end with the Ivan Robb family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stevens and children of Cedar City spent Sunday here with the Rohb family and the Roy Ben-son Ben-son family of Parowan joined them. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Thornton Thorn-ton and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Thorton and children all of Parowan were Sunday visitors here with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton. Miss Ginger Robb is vacationing vaca-tioning in Hawaii this week. Charlie Dotson of Mataguay Ranch, Calif, spent a week here recently with his wife Mary. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson An-derson were in Beaver Wednesday Wed-nesday to see their daughter, Mrs. Miriam Limb, who is in the Hospital convalescing from surgery. Walter Talbot traveled north for the week end. In |
