Show TO PERFORM HERE. Members of the Wasatich Academy Aca-demy choir which will perform at the Community Presbyterian Church Sunday, May 17. Wasatch Academy choir to sing in Cedar Rev. Grayson Gowan announces an-nounces that the Wasatch Academy Choir from Mt. Pleasant Plea-sant will present a service of music at the regular morning worship service in the Presbyterian Presby-terian Church, Cedar City, May 17. The choir is composed of 45 young voices under the direction direc-tion of Floyd Nelson. This school year the choir has toured in Idaho, Utah and Arizona winning high acclaim at all their performances. In music festival competition the choir has stood first in its region for the past two years U Drings a real treat to music lovers. Wasatch Academy is a private pri-vate boarding hish school for grades nine through 12, owned own-ed and operated by the Board of National Missions of the United Presbyterian Church, U. S. A. Although Presbyterian Presbyter-ian operated, the scnooi ie-presents ie-presents many religions and draws its student body from 28 states and 19 foreign coun-triess coun-triess this year. The offering received that morning will go towards the Everyone's Freedom Fund and for the salary of Miss Augusta Jackley at the Indian Training School in Brigham City. |
